Israeli forces shot and injured two Palestinians in Gaza late Tuesday, medics said. Loai al-Mabhouh, 14, was shot in the top of the leg and Hussein Abu Attia, 22, was shot in the abdomen, medics told Ma'an. Israeli forces stationed east of Jabalia opened fire on the men. An Israeli army spokeswoman told Ma'an that the soldiers fired at two Palestinians who approached the separation wall after they failed to respond to warning shots. She said the Israeli forces fired at the Palestinians' lower bodies. On Aug. 10, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian they described as acting suspiciously along the border between southern Israel and the northern Gaza Strip. A week earlier, Israeli forces positioned in a watchtower shot and injured a Palestinian in the foot near the border in the northern Gaza Strip.
