Israeli forces raided the homes of former detainees at dawn Wednesday in Jenin in the northern West Bank, Palestinian security officials said. Security officers told Ma'an that Israeli soldiers questioned Ahmad Abu Srour and Muhammad Shanaat for several hours and threatened to arrest them if they returned to the political struggle. Abu Srour and Shanaat were released from Israeli jail under the October prisoner swap agreement between Israel and Hamas. Over 1,000 Palestinians were released in the deal to free Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. An Israeli military spokeswoman did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
