
Israeli forces arrested 15 Hamas affiliates in Nablus early Monday, the Islamist movement said. Locals told Ma'an that Israeli military vehicles raided Nablus, Tulkarem, Tamoun and Salem and detained 15 people, mostly students at An-Najah University. Amjad Bashkar, Abed al-Rahman Ishtaiya, Moath Abu Baker, Samer Abu Shoaeb, Anas Ghanem, Anas Radad, Amer Ishtaiya, Kamal Qatalouni, Ami al-Tanbour, Masoud al-Kuni, Abdullah Bani Odeh, and Abed al-Rahaman Bashtawi were identified as some of those detained. Meanwhile, Israeli forces detained Jihad Abu Baker after raiding his home in Jenin, his father said. Israeli soldiers ransacked the house during the raid and were aggressive with other family members. In Tulkarem, Israeli forces detained Abas Mahmoud Radad, 26, witnesses said, while three people were detained in Tubas, a prisoners group said. An Israeli army spokeswoman said 20 people were detained overnight, 10 in Nablus, five in Hebron, two in Ramallah, two in Jenin, and one in Tulkarem.
