Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi urged the UN on Tuesday to help his country to fight corruption and restore funds smuggled abroad.
Addressing a workshop, co-organized by the Iraqi Cabinet and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Abadi said the Iraqi government sees corruption and terrorism as "one enemy".
He stressed that the Iraqi government is capable of winning the fight against corruption.
The workshop was attended by Resident Coordinator of the United Nations Development Program Lise Grande and a raft of international experts.
