Iranian subversive role slammed

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said that his talks with his Belgian counterpart Didier Reynders had been fruitful and dealt with the regional situation, the peace process in the Middle East and the situation in Syria and Yemen.

In a joint press conference with his Belgian counterpart, the Foreign Minister stressed that Iran is the source of the biggest conflicts, in the region, as a result of its reckless and expansionist behavior in Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and Bahrain, in addition to its interference in the internal affairs of other regional countries.
"Iran must decide whether it is a revolution or a state. If it is a revolution, we can deal with it. If it is a state of institutions, it must comply with international laws, respect the principle of good neighborliness, stop interfering in the affairs of states and stop supporting and financing terrorism," he said.
"We have sent a clear message to Iran that its behavior is unacceptable," he added during the press conference. He noted that the nuclear agreement needs to be improved, especially with regard to the maximum limits for uranium enrichment.
Responding to a question about the humanitarian situation, in Yemen, Al-Jubeir said that the Iranian-backed militia are responsible for abducting the country and sending children as soldiers to the battlefields. He pointed out that the Yemeni ports are open to receive relief aid, adding that Saudi Arabia is the biggest supporter of the Yemeni people and will continue to do so.
For his part, the Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders stressed that coordination between Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Belgium, is ongoing in various fields. He thanked the Kingdom for its role in uniting the Syrian opposition and its humanitarian efforts, in Yemen. On the Iranian issue, the Belgian foreign minister explained that he is looking for a way to deal with Iran, its program of ballistic missiles and its regional impact.
