Head of Majlis special committee looking for the fate of missing Imam Mousa Sadr Javad Karimi Qoddosi said on Sunday that Iran’s Ambassador to Libya has been assigned to follow up the case. Speaking to IRNA, he said the Iranian ambassador is to confer with Libyan officials and convey the latest information in this regard to the Iranian parliamentary commission. According to the agreement reached by Iran and Libyan transitional government, the latter has promised to take necessary measures to this end, he said. He expressed the hope that after the arrest of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi the latest status of missing Imam Mousa Sadr would become clear as soon as possible.
