Indian president to visit Turkey

Indian President Pranab Mukherjee will pay a three-day visit to Turkey on Saturday, said the press office of Turkish president in a statement released today. During the visit, the Indian President will meet his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul and a number of ministers and officials. The visit will be the first of its kind by the Indian President to Turkey in 15 years. During the visit he will discuss with his counterpart bilateral relations, and exchange views on current regional and global developments, said the statement which was released today by Turkish Anadolu news agency. During the visit the two sides will sign a number of cooperative agreements between the two countries in various fields, the statement added.
