India hopes new Pakistani president would take positive steps

India expressed hopes on sunday that the newly elected Pakistani President would take positive steps towards India, media quoted the minister of external affaits as saying. "Newly elected Pakistan president Mamnoon Hussain is from Agra and knows what the people of both the country want and I hope that he would initiate positive steps for understanding the frustration, pain and concern of the Indian people towards Pakistan", the external affairs minister told the media. The newly elected Pakistan president was born in the historic city of Agra and migrated from India during the partition of sub continent in 1947.
