Iceland Foreign Minster visits Jordan

Jordan's Prince Hashem Ben Al Hussein, the Regent, on Thursday received Icelandic Foreign Minister Ossur Skarphedinsson who is currently visiting the Kingdom within a regional tour. Talks during the meeting dealt with cooperation between Jordan and Iceland as well as ways of further boosting them, mainly in economic, trade and renewable energy fields. At the meeting, which was attended by Royal Court Chief Khaled Karaki and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, Hashem stressed the need for the international community to support efforts designed to achieve peace in the region.
