IAEA, Iran describe talks in Vienna fruitful

Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) described their talks which concluded Tuesday as "fruitful and comprehensive," where the two agreed to complete discussion in two weeks in Tehran. In a joint press statement, experts from both sides said that the talks today and yesterday covered past and current issues related to Iran's nuclear program. The statement added practical measures to contribute constructively to strengthen cooperation and dialogue in order to address all outstanding issues in the future, noting that it has been decided that the two sides meet again in Tehran on November 11th to achieve this goal. Last Monday, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi offered new proposals to IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano ahead of the talks. Araqchi said Iran is keen to improve its cooperation with the agency, adding that Tehran has also expressed its readiness to "respond to all IAEA questions and ambiguities in a short period of time." The meeting was regarded as critical due to the presence of high Iranian delegation and IAEA chief since election of Iranian President Hassan Rohani four months ago.
