Hungary hails Azhar's role in confronting extremist ideology

Hungarian Ambassador to Egypt Peter Kveck voiced his government's appreciation of Al Azhar's efforts in countering extremist ideologies.
Kveck's remark came during his meeting Monday with Al Azhar Grand Imam Dr Ahmed el Tayyeb on Monday.
He, meanwhile, hailed Tayyeb's efforts in entrenching peace among all nations.
He also hoped that there will be more cooperation between Azhar and Hungary in confronting extremist ideology.
The recent terrorist acts in Brussels are regrettable, Tayyeb said, adding that Al Azhar realized the danger of terrorism and warned against it.
