Director of the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council Ralph Chow called for development of trade and commercial ties with Iran. In a meeting with an Iranian delegation led by Assadollah Asgaroladi on Wednesday, he said the council is keen to promote its relations with Iran in trade and commerce areas. He said Hong Kong is ready for more meetings with Iranian businessmen. Chow further noted that holding gatherings and seminars on trade and commerce is crucial for expanding ties between the two countries. During the meeting the Iranian delegation outlined its activities and programs to boost mutual trade relations. Asgaroladi also invited Hong Kong businessmen and traders to visit Iran for making investments which was greatly welcomed by them. The two sides also exchanged views on ways to develop bilateral trade.
