The Syrian opposition’s High Negotiations Committee (HNC) does not oppose conducting direct talks with the delegation of the Syrian government at the upcoming talks on Syria’s reconciliation in Geneva, HNC spokesperson Naasan Agha told Sputnik.
"We do not mind," Agha said, answering if the HNC was against direct talks with the Damascus delegation, according to Sputnik News Agency on Sunday.
The HNC spokesman added that the group’s delegation would only discuss the issue of the transitional government in Syria during the next round of intra-Syrian talks, which are set to start next week.
HNC will not undergo any changes ahead of the next round of intra-Syrian talks in Geneva, Agha noted.
"The delegation will arrive in Geneva the day before the talks, there are no changes to the delegation," Agha said.
