
Ghulam Rezaei, Head of Iranian Hajj and Visit Organization, expressed appreciation of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince due to the care accorded to the Iranian Umrah performers in the incident of a plane coming from the airport of the Iranian city of Mashhad to Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport suffered a technical malfunction while landing at the airport resulting in 29 passengers suffering different injuries. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Ghulam lauded the measurements taken by the relevant authorities in dealing with the injuries. During a telephone conversation with Director General of Hajj Ministry's branch in Madinah Mohammed bin Abdurrahman Al-Bijawi, Ghulam Rezaei expressed thanked to Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madina Region, for his directives to provide all necessaries and care for the Iranian mission. Al-Bijawi said that the all Iranian injured people left the hospital excepting four female Iranians, stressing that their health cases are stable.
