Hadi receives NDI senior director for MENA

President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi received here on Tuesday the National Democratic Institute (NDI)'s senior associate and regional director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Leslie Campbell, who is currently visiting Yemen to follow-up activities carried out by the NDI in Yemen. President Hadi hailed the role of the NDI and its efforts in raising awareness and promoting the concepts of democracy based on dialogue and partnership among those who involved in it. Hadi noted to the transitional process witnessed in Yemen based on dialogue aiming to build a new civilized state, welcoming the institute's experience to serve the transitional process in the country. For his part, the NDI's senior expressed his pleasure for his visit to Yemen which comes in a very important moment of Yemen and coincided with the closing plenary session of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC). "We are confident that Yemen is taking valid and important steps on the path of transformation and construction to serve the community," he added, congratulating President Hadi for his achievements attained in facing the challenges and difficulties in stabilizing situation in the country.
