
Germany has offered a 3.9-million-dollar grant to the Funding Facility for Immediate Stabilization (FFIS) to help stabilize areas recently liberated from Daesh terrorist group in Iraq.
The German contribution will be allocated for the UNDP’s Funding Facility for Immediate Stabilization (FFIS), and will be used to rehabilitate infrastructure and provide job opportunities in Iraq.
Resident Coordinator of the United Nations Development Program Lise Grande thanked the German government for its role in stabilizing the Arab country.
