GCC strategic planning, sustainable development forum next week

Under the auspices of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Personal Representative of HM the King, cum President of the Supreme Council for the Environment and President of the High Commission for Media and Telecommunications, Bahrain Society for Strategic Planning BSSP and Act-Smart PR Consultancy organize the 2nd GCC Strategic Planning and Sustainable Development Forum in the period 5-7 November at the Zallaq's Sofitel Hotel. Chairperson of Bahrain Society for Strategic Planning BSSP, Dr. Hala Sulaibeekh, said that the forum this year witnesses a qualitative and quantitative transformation which qualified for inclusion in the Labour Ministry's vocational training programme and also in Tamkeen's programme (Supporting the Attendance of Forums and Conferences) thus enabling Bahraini participants to benefit from Tamkeen's support. Dr. Hala Sulaibeekh said the forum this year focuses on public, private and military sector employees. The forum hosts several specialized experts on strategic planning, including HM the King's advisor for diplomatic affairs cum board of trustees chairman of the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) as the forum's keynote speaker, in the presence of H.E. Shaikh Hisham bin Abdul Aziz Al Khalifa Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Resources and Service, H.E. Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Amer President of the Central Informatics Organization, Dr. Sami Al-Faraj President of Kuwait's Centre for Strategic Studies, Ministry of Works Planning Division chief engineer Raja Al-Zayani, (Retired) Lt-General Masa'ad Al-Ghouwainim the general director of the Institute for Preventative, Consultancy and Security Training from the State of Kuwait, Major-General Dr. Abdul-Qudoos Abdul-Razzaq Al-Obaidli the director of the General Directorate for Comprehensive Quality and Deputy Chief of Dubai Police for Quality Assurance, Lt-Colonel Faisal Al-Ajmi from the Royal Guard. MP Isa Al-Kooheji, BCCI member Mr. Khalid Al-Amin, Eskan Bank GM Dr. Khalid Abdullah and Mr. Ahmed Abdul-Ghaffar board member of Bahrain Society for Strategic Planning (BSSP) and Professor Mohammed Abu Amoud also lecture during the forum.
