France's Industry and Development Minister Arnaud Montebourg, who paid an official visit in Turkey between October 9-12, announced that French President Francois Hollande would visit Turkey in the shortest time possible. Speaking in a press conference before departing for France, Montebourg evaluated his three-day Turkey visit. Montebourg, stating that they carried out efficient, rich and in-depth talks, said "Turkey plays a very important stabilizing role in the region as well as developing its effectiveness and influence." "Turkey is very impressive. It is a great nation which has managed to restrengthen in industry, economy, art and each area," French minister said. Reminding that he had visited Turkey 20 years ago, Montebourg said "It had fascinated me 20 years ago, but this time, it has captivated me more." During his visit in Turkey, economic relations between the two countries were taken up as well as holding several talks to develop mutual investments both in Turkey and France.
