Paris - KUNA

French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault called Sunday on the international community to "take decisive action" against Bashar Al-Assad's regime after the massacre in a suburb of Damascus which killed and injured hundreds of people. In a statement via (France two) television, Ayrault said that the attack was a crime against humanity and the international community could not be silence about it. The French premier also expressed his belief that Al-Assad's regime has used chemical weapons last Wednesday, calling on UN inspectors to fully investigate the incident and shed light on the nature of such attack. "France is determined not to allow this act go unpunished," Ayrault added. The French premier mentioned earlier talks between the French President Francois Hollande and his US counterpart Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister David Cameron, and Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. Earlier, during talks with premier Rudd, President Hollande said that there is "evidence" on the Syrian regime using chemicals against civilians in suburb of Damascus.
