Foreign Minister, UN Envoy Discuss Syrian Crisis

HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met here today with the United Nations Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura, on the margins of the Munich Security Conference.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments of the Syrian crisis and crucial importance to stop the violence and protect the lives of innocent civilians in addition to the ways to combat terrorism in the region.
HE the Foreign Minister and the UN Special Envoy to Syria reiterated the importance of the cessation of hostilities in the Syrian cities, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Syrians in the besieged areas.
