Foreign minister bids farewell to US ambassador

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received today US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William V. Roebuck, on the occasion of the end of his term in the Kingdom.
The minister stressed Bahrain's keenness to strengthen historical and strategic relations with the United States, as well as to expand cooperation and develop frameworks for coordination on various issues.
The minister also praised the friendly bilateral relations of development and prosperity that serve common interests at all levels and commended the Ambassador's efforts to develop ties between the two friendly countries, wishing the ambassador further success.
Ambassador Roebuck expressed his thanks for the cooperation and appreciation he had received during his tenure in Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom further development and prosperity.
