
The Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) helped till now 600 Syrian families in the province of Kilis with food aid. IHH official Mehmet Merkepcioglu told journalists that they want to help Syrian families who need help during the holy month of Ramadan. Merkepcioglu said that the aid program started at the first day of Ramadan and will continue until the last day. "Our sensitivity increased during the month of Ramadan. From different parts of Turkey, we provided aid for a better iftar and sahur of the Syrian guests in Turkey. We will try to reach 5,000 Syrian families who live in this city. Till now the aid reached 600 families," Merkepcioglu noted.
