FM meets US Congress delegation
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Saturday held a meeting with a delegation from the US Congress chaired by Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, the founder of Congressional Friends of Egypt Caucus.
The meeting took up a review of Egypt’s economy and social reform program, spokesman for the foreign ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
The minister asserted that the government is determined to continue political and economic development.
The top diplomat noted that the two countries are requested to spare no effort to overcome challenges facing their interests in the region, the spokesman said.
