Explosions rock city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon
Beirut - KUNA
Strong explosions rocked the northern city of Tripoli Friday with casualties reported, said a media source. The National News Agency (NNA) said that numerous people were killed and injured by the Tripoli explosions which took place Friday near Taqwa Mosque. The NNA added that there were reports that a second explosion was set at Al-Salam Mosque, a close distance to the residence of caretaker PM Najib Mikati, who was not at home at the time, as confirmed by Mikati's media office
