European Union (EU) foreign ministers will discuss developments in the EU's Eastern Partnership, Syria, Egypt and Myanmar among other topics at their monthly meeting to be held at Centre de Conferences, Kirchberg, Luxembourg on Monday. The EU's Eastern Partnership is expected to be discussed at the meeting ahead of the summit in Vilnius on November 28 and 29. The ministers will also discuss the situation in Syria - the issue of chemical weapons, political developments and the humanitarian situation - and how the EU should act. Also on the agenda is a discussion concerning the signing of the Association Agreement with Ukraine. A final decision on this matter will be taken on November 18, a spokesperson for EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Catherine Ashton, Maja Kocijancic told Interfax-Ukraine in Brussels earlier this week. The ministers are also expected to discuss developments in Egypt and follow up the conclusions of the extraordinary foreign ministers meeting in August.
