Ankara - KUNA
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday voiced skepticism about Syrian regime's commitment to a Russia-brokered plan to put Syrian chemical weapons under international control. In a business conference held here, Erdogan said he was doubtful that President Bashar Al-Assad would fulfill his pledge to put Syria's chemical weapons under international control. Erdogan, moreover, accused the Syrian president of buying time for new massacres. "The Syrian government has never fulfilled its pledges," he said. The Turkish Premier criticized the international community's silence in face of the non-stop violence and killing of Syrian people by Al-Assad forces. "Killing by chemical weapons or any other weapon does not matter, what matters is bringing killing to a halt."
