A convoy of 73 trucks which departed from England and contain humanitarian aid for Syrian people entered Turkey via Kapikule border crossing point in Edirne province on Thursday. There are 160 volunteers in the convoy as well as an ambulance, fire truck, and pickup trucks, said Mohammed Shakiel Shabir, representative of 'The United Muslims', a child focused organisation who seek to make immediate and long term improvements to the lives of children affected by poverty, war and disaster around the world. "The aid include toys, baby food, clothes, medicine, and gifts sent from English people to Syrians for Eid al-Fitr (also called Ramadan Feast)," Shabir said. The convoy is expected to enter Syria via Turkey's Cilvegozu border crossing in Reyhanli of Hatay province in 4 days. "I thank to all who is a part of this convoy and who made it easier for the aid to reach Syrian people," he said, also calling on the people to pray for their brother Syrians.
