
English Foreign Secretary William Hague condemned on Thursday the abduction of Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zidan, which took place this morning in Tripoli by armed rebels. "I condemn the abduction of the Libyan prime minister in Tripoli this morning and call for his immediate release," Hague said today. He added that the English ambassador was in touch with the Libyan government to find out more about the incident. The Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zidan was released hours after his abduction and arrived Thursday afternoon in the Libyan cabinet's headquarters.
