Emir of Kuwait heads to Turkey for humanitarian summit
The humanitarian situation in Syria and the condition for refugees in neighbouring countries continue to deteriorate

The Emir of Kuwait, H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, left the country today to lead the Kuwaiti delegation at the World Humanitarian Summit which begins tomorrow in Istanbul, Turkey.
Turkey is hosting this ground-breaking summit which will address humanitarian problems and will bring world leaders together to agree on a package of practical steps ahead.
The summit, spearheaded by UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, and organised by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, UNOCHA, is aimed at discussing humanitarian issues in detail.
