Egyptian, US MPs review strategic relations, NGOs file

The talks between Egyptian MPs and the delegation of the US House of Representatives reviewed the Egyptian-US strategic relations, an Egyptian lawmaker said.
The talks also tackled the issue of foreign funding of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), MP and former foreign minister Mohamed el Oraby told reporters.
He noted that the Egyptian lawmakers expressed reservation over the way the US is dealing with the foreign funding of NGOs.
The visit should have a direct outcome on the Egyptian-US relations, he said.
