
At least one man was killed and four others injured Friday as street clashes between Egyptian police and pro ousted president Mohammad Morsi continued in several cities across the nation, the Health Ministry said.In a press statement carried by the state news agency (MENA), the ministry said that one was killed and four wounded in clashes in the Mediterranean City of Alexandria.The wounded were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, the statement added.The clashes erupted between the police and Morsi's supporters in the governorates of Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Menya and Suez. The Interior Ministry announced the arrest of scores of protesters during Friday clashes.Morsi's supporters have organized almost daily protests since he was ousted on July 3 to demand his reinstatement. The rallies often end with clashes when police intervene to disperse the protesters.At least 17 protesters were killed across the country and more than 100 arrested, in the clashes between both sides Last Friday.
