Cairo - KUNA

The Egyptian Cabinet called on all parties to avoid violence and follow the law in order to bring peace, stability, and democracy to the country, and start establishing a road map. The Cabinet said in a statement on Monday that Egyptian Prime Minister Hazem El-Beblawi and all members are closely monitoring the latest terrorist attacks of armed groups, with the Muslim Brotherhood's continuous actions to violate Egypt's security and law. The statement also mentioned the terrorist attack on soldiers of the Egyptian Central Security Forces earlier today, which killed over 24, and injured three others. The Cabinet expressed its deepest sympathy for the victims' families, calling on all clashing parties to solve their political differences away from violence. Moreover, the Cabinet spoke of the incident that occurred yesterday, when an armed group attempted to help 612 prisoners of the brotherhood to escape while being transferred to Abu Zaabal prison in Al-Qalyubiyah. The armed men kidnapped one of the officers in charge of guarding the prisoners, but police opened fire on the attackers and freed the officer, while killing and injuring a number of the armed men. The Cabinet is putting tremendous efforts to fight all terrorist actions and make sure everyone abides by the law, to bring political stability to the country. Moreover, the Cabinet is looking forward to give local and international media, a truthful, transparent picture about the current situation in Egypt, rather than the fake information spread by some media that is causing more chaos in the country.
