Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Tuesday discussed in a phone call with Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin cooperation in various fields.
They also discussed preparations for holding the seventh session of the joint governmental committee on economic, scientific and technical cooperation, slated for December in Kiev.
The Ukrainian foreign minister invited his Egyptian counterpart to visit Kiev, a statement issued by the Ukrainian embassy in Cairo indicated.
The two sides agreed to continue dialogue in light of both countries' non-permanent membership in the United Nations Security Council between 2016 and 2017, the statement added.
