Egypt strategic partner in Mediterranean tourism

Egypt and Greece are the most tourism attracting countries in the Mediterranean area and the world, and Egypt is a strategic partner in this vital field, visiting Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura said.
Addressing the Egyptian-Greek Tourism Forum on Monday, Kountoura said the convention of the forum is a serous step to discuss available opportunities in the tourism field.
She extended her deep condolences on behalf of the Greek government and people to the families and friends of the victims of an EgyptAir plane that crashed Thursday over the Mediterranean Sea.
The forum will lead to establishing joint projects between Greece and Egypt and offering tourism programs to increase the number of tourists in both countries, she added.
