Cairo - QNA

The Egyptian interior ministry on Saturday repeated its call for supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi to end their sit-ins, saying that it would allow the Muslim Brotherhood to return to politics. In a televised statement released here today, the ministry called on protesters in Rabaa al-Adawiya and Nahda ( Renaissance) squares in Cairo to return to their homes and work. “Your peaceful and safe exit will allow for the return of the Brotherhood to a role in the democratic political process,” the ministry said. In this context, a security source said, “The Interior Ministry ruled out the idea of breaking into the headquarters of supporters of President sit in front of rabaa al -Adaweya Square in nasr city , east of cairo and al-nahda square in Giza” . The stressed that the idea of forced entry rejected by the ministry. Last week, at least 80 pro-Morsi protesters were killed in clashes with police at a rally near the sit-in Cairos Nasr City.
