Doha to host meeting of Darfur development fund next September

Doha will host next September the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Darfur Development Fund which chaired by Qatar to review implementation of the development strategy. Chairman of Darfur Peace Office, Dr, Amin Hassan Omer has affirmed in press statement to SUNA the government's commitment to the development and rehabilitation of Darfur in the context of Doha Peace Document . Dr. Omer indicated to the continuous coordination wih the Qatari leadership on Darfur peace , referring to the ongoing arrangements with the Darfur Regional Authority and the Government of South Darfur to hold the meeting of the Mechanism for the Implementation of Darfur Peace, scheduled for next September . The meeting will be held with the participation of Sudan Government, DRA, Germany, Turkey and the African Union.
