The detectives have brought the final accusation against leading ballet soloist of the State Bolshoi Academic Theatre Pavel Dmitrichenko, who is accused in the criminal case over an attack on artistic director of the Bolshoi ballet company Sergei Filin, the press service of the Moscow police told Itar-Tass on Thursday. Last March, Dmitrichenko was accused of premeditated heavy damage to the health inflicted by a group of people. The Tagansky district court put Dmitrichenko under arrest until August 17. “Dmitrichenko faced the final accusation. The defendant will begin to study the criminal files soon,” the police said. For his part, Filin’s lawyer Violetta Volkova confirmed that the actor was charged with heavy bodily damage, noting that he does not know it for sure whether this wording of the accusation is final. Volkova also explained that Dmitrichenko has a new lawyer, the name of whom she refused to make public. “He will have one more lawyer, already the sixth one. The agreement is not severed with me yet, but a new turn appeared in the case that requires one more lawyer,” Volkova said. Meanwhile, she refused to explain which turn in particular she means. The attack on People’s Artist of Russia Sergei Filin was committed late in the evening on January 17 at a residential house, where he lives in the Troitskaya Street in Moscow. The acid was splashed in the face of the actor, he was hospitalized with serious face and eye burns. Filin underwent several surgeries. Suspected contractor of the attack on Filin - leading soloist of the theatre Pavel Dmitrichenko, perpatrator of the crime Yuri Zarutsky with previous convictions and driver Andrei Lipatov, who, according to the detectives, brought the perpatrator to the crime scene, were detained on suspicions of committing the crime.
