Cairo - KUNA
The death toll of the twin blasts that occurred earlier in the day near the Egyptian military intelligence building in Rafah rose to 11 and 17 others wounded. MENA quoted security sources in northern Sinai as saying that the two blasts led to the destruction of the building's main gate and some part of the fence. A car bomb went off near the Egyptian military intelligence building in Rafah earlier. The car was laden with a considerable amount of explosive material and the blast caused considerable damage to the target building and other buildings and structures close by. Two other RPG explosions were also reported to have followed the initial blast. The television report added that security forces and ambulances had rushed to the scene, which is now under complete security lock-down.
