
The Syrian army' crackdown on the armed rebel groups continued on Wednesday with operations resulting in the killing of many of their members and the destruction of their weapons and munitions. Terrorists eliminated in Damascus Countryside, including in Maaloula A military source said units of the armed forces eliminated terrorist groups affiliated to al-Nusra Front in the surrounding of Safir Maaloula Hotel in Maaloula in Damascus Countryside. The terrorists' weapons and ammunition were destroyed, SANA reported. The source added that other terrorist groups were killed and their weapons were destroyed in Dahret Mikhail to the North of Jaba'deen, to the South of Wadi al-Sarkheh and in Barta farm near Rankous area. Army eliminates non-Syrians terrorists in Lattakia countryside Meanwhile, units of the armed forces destroyed two rocket launch pads and a weapons cache for al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists and killed many of them in the Northern countryside of Lattakia. Those included Palestinians, Egyptians, Iraqis and Moroccans. The news agency quoted a military source as saying that 11 terrorists affiliated to al-Nusra Front were killed in Ebleq village. Among those terrorist Khalid al-Darawsheh from Palestine and Imad Bin Jouhar from Algeria were identified, in addition to terrorists Bassam al-Saidawi and Khalid al-Sharawi. The source added that two rocket launch pads and various types of weapons and ammunition were destroyed during the operations. Another army unit, the source said, destroyed a weapons cache and 3 cars loaded with weapons in Rabi'a village and killed a number of terrorists. Terrorists Adnan Kheirallah, Iyad Sheikh al-Souq and Ahmad al-Qabwat from Palestine, Mustafa Zaitouneh and Zahed Hamameh from Iraq, Taj-Eddin Sabahi and Adel al-Nawras from Egypt and Adel al-Maher from Morocco were identified among the dead.
