China strongly condemns Nairobi terrorist attack

China strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Nairobi, capital of Kenya, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei announced Sunday. "China opposes terrorism in any form. We express deep condolences to the victims and sincere sympathy to the deceaseds' families and the wounded," Hong said in a press release. As a good friend of Kenya, China will continue to support Kenya's effort to safeguard national security and maintain regional stability, (Xinhua) quoted Hong as saying. According to the released statement, one Chinese was killed and another was injured in the attack in Nairobi on Saturday.
