China participates in International Army Games 2016

Spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of National Defense (MND) Wu Qian said "From July 30 to August 13, the Chinese PLA will send a team to take part in the International Army Games 2016 co-hosted by Russia and Kazakhstan."
In a press briefing on Thursday, the spokesman said "In total, the PLA Army, Navy and Air Force will send 1,070 officers and soldiers, 154 pieces of vehicles and equipment, 1 guided-missile frigate and 2 JH-7A fighter-bombers to participate in the games.
He added that the games included such events as Tank Biathlon, Sovorov Attack, Masters of Armored Vehicles, Sea Cup and AviaDarts.
