Canadaian FM meets Palestinian counterpart

Canada's Foreign Minister John Baird met here on Thursday with his Palestinian counterpart Riyad Al Maliki. Discussions during the meeting dealt with ways of strengthening bilateral relations as well as the latest political developments in Palestine and the region. Al Maliki arrived in the Canadian capital earlier in the day, and will travel to New York to participate in the 68th UN General Assembly session.
