Spokesman for the British Government in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Edwin Samuel asserted on Sunday the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Iraq is poised to build new shelters for taking in some 450,000 displaced people who fled the fighting in Mosul city.
Also, the OCHA in Iraq has managed to establish 7 refugee camps to accept about 55,000 Iraqi displaced people from the city of Mosul thanks to the support offered by the international coalition’s states and the donor community, Samuel added.
