
British Foreign Secretary William Hague on Monday extended his congratulations and best wishes to Muslims in Britain and around the world on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. Hague said in a statement that the Eid Al-Adha represents one of the most important religious occasions, adding that at a time when Eid Al-Adha occasion comes with joy and celebration for all Muslims of the world, yet, thousands of Syrians will not enjoy peace and security during the coming feast. He stressed the need for the world not to forget the suffering of the Syrians inside Syria and in camps in neighboring countries, vowing to continue all efforts to assist in the restoration of security and stability to Syria.
