British FM in Ethiopia for an official visit

UK Foreign Secretary William Hague, arrived in Addis Ababa today on a two-day official visit to Ethiopia to enhance bilateral ties between the two countries. During the visit, the British top diplomat will discuss a number of joint issues with Prime Minister Meles Zenawi and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn, The British Embassy in Ethiopia said in a press release. Hague said his country''s government recently decided to double aid to Ethiopia based on the strong developmental progress, it said. "This makes Ethiopia the largest recipient of UK aid in the world," Hague added.
