
The official media here said, Tuesday, that a bomb had exploded on the Majdal Anjar Al-Masnaa highway of the Beqaa region, in eastern Lebanon. The National News Agency said the blast was a result of a car-bomb going off targeting a GMC vehicle, adding that the passengers were all taken to hospital. There was another blast in the Beqaa region recently, when two bombs went off in Al-Hermel on July 7, leaving three people injured, including two military officers. The area where the blast took place today was scene of similar explosions on June 10 and June 25, 2013.
