Bahraini state minister for foreign affairs receives Japanese ambassador

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Ghanim bin Fadhl Al-Buainain, today received the Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom, H.E. Mr. Shigeki Sumi. During the meeting, the Minister received a letter of thanks addressed to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from the Japanese Prime Minister, H.E. Mr. Shinzo Abe in which he expressed utmost gratitude and appreciation towards hospitality and welcoming reception he had received during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain last August which resulted in augmenting bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. Minister Al-Buainina praised outstanding friendship and cooperation relations existing between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan, lauding the role of the Japanese Ambassador and his contribution in boosting cooperation between the two friendly countries. The two sides discussed various topics as well as regional and international issues of common interest.
