Bahraini minister of interior affairs receives Coast guard commander

Minister of State for Interior Affairs Major-General Adel bin Khalifa Al-Fadhel received here today the Coast Guards Commander Commodore Alaa Abdulla Siyadi who introduced to him members of the Curriculum Development Committee who prepared a book on marine navigation. The Minister of State lauded the efforts made by the members of the committee to compile the book which he described as a reference in the field of maritime navigation and matches the curricula of the International Maritime Organisation. He pointed out that the scientific content of the book will benefit the affiliates of the Coast Guards and upgrade their competencies and promote the maritime navigation culture. He also praised the efforts of the Coast Guards to upgrade the capabilities of its affiliates, which, he said, will enable them to defend and protect the kingdom's borders and territorial waters. On his part, the Coast Guards Commander expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of State for Interior Affairs for his constant support to the Coast Guard in order to upgrade their competencies and enhance their professionalism.
