
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, said that the brotherly visit of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani the Emir of the sisterly State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Bahrain was expressive of solid, deep-rooted, historic brotherly relations bilateral relations solid familial bonds between the two brotherly leaderships and peoples and added a new building-block in the edifice of strong bilateral bonds between both brotherly countries which enjoy solid relations in all fields - bilaterally and as members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The Minister of Foreign Affairs added that the talks conducted between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani the Emir of the sisterly State of Qatar and important positive outcomes of these talks reflect mutual will to boost the spirit of mutual understanding and trust between both sides and support the excellent cooperation march in political, economic, trade and security fields towards further progress and heights under the two countries' wise leaderships. His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa emphasized the concurrence of both leaderships as to the importance of political consultation regarding various regional and international issues in order to reach a common vision in coping with challenges and accomplishing the interests of both countries and the benefit of the GCC countries and achieve the aspirations of both countries towards more cooperation and coordination and to push forward the march of joint GCC work to accomplish more development and growth of these relations at all levels and resolutions passed by the GCC Supreme Council related to economic integration, development schemes and full GCC citizenship.
