The Kingdom of Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received here on the Czech Republic''s Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Karl Schwartzberg who is on a current official visit in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised existing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and mutual desire to boost these bilateral cooperation relations in all spheres. The Minister reviewed with his Czech counterpart recent events in the Kingdom of Bahrain and reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain''s compliance with the recommendations of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) publicized on 23 November 2011 currently being implemented by the Government''s Implementation and Follow-Up Commission presided over by the Shura Council''s chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh and membership of the legislative bodies, political societies and civil society organizations. The two sides discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern in order to boost bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries. It was agreed to consolidate existing commercial, economic and cultural cooperation as well as exchanging of trade, facilitating visits by official delegations, businessmen and investors from both countries and issuance of entry visas to citizens of the two countries. For his part, the visiting Czech Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Karl Schwartzberg praised the Kingdom of Bahrain''s implementation of BICI''s recommendations and described that as an unprecedented initiative which is worthy of portrayal on the various international media channels so that the whole world will know the Kingdom of Bahrain''s serious compliance with BICI''s recommendations and the major reforms performed recently by the kingdom. Karl Schwartzberg asserted potential for boosting industrial cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Czech Republic in view of advancement of Czech industrial sector and its diversity of products, topnotch quality so that the Kingdom of Bahrain can avail from them .
